Hot Fries
Unconventional in form and texture, Andy Capp's fries look like french fries but crunch like chips. It's a unique alternative to regular potato chips. Andy Capp's fries pack a powerful flavor punch in every crunch with zero grams of trans fat per serving.
Although consumers began crunching on Andy Capp's fries back in 1971, the introduction of Hot Fries in 1973 is what really ignited the brand.
Hot Fries are a "corn and potato" snack that's baked, not fried!
My Opinion
I've been eating Andy Capp's Hot Fries since sometime in the '80s after talking my older sister into letting me try whatever it was that she was snacking on. She thought I wouldn't like them but obviously, she was wrong! I have to say though, something has changed with Hot Fries in the past few years. The texture is slightly different (they used to "melt" in my mouth) and the flavor seems to have been watered down a bit but they're still my favorite junk food.
